Ep 58: Menopause and Fitness: What No One Tells You

Listen on…

Here at SH1FT Fitness, we're always listening to what our Instructors want, and today's episode is a reflection of that. We recently conducted a global instructor survey and the topic of menopause, hormones, and their impact on both class members and instructors came out as the MOST WANTED show!

Well, you asked and we’re answering!

Today on the podcast, in celebration of World Menopause Day, Will is chatting with friend and colleague, Tracy Minnoch - an expert in the area of menopause and fitness.

As you're going to hear on the show, menopause completely changes the way people interact with life and fitness and given that half the population will go through at some point, it's pretty damn important that we as Group Fitness Instructors understand the basics.

So for those of you that won't personally go through menopause, please don't think this isn't an episode for you. Because we can guarantee you'll have class members that will, and having a base level of understanding will allow you to be a more compassionate instructor and create better connections with your classes.

So in celebration of World Menopause Day today, please do listen, share it with family and friends and let's all take the time to learn more and start a conversation about this incredibly important and impactful topic.
