M1ND workouts are specifically designed around the “3 TYs” – flexibility, mobility and stability. Each workout draws inspiration from a mix of sports, yoga, calisthenics and rehabilitation with the central theme being the connection between mind and movement.

Who’s it for? M1ND workouts are zero impact and perfect for recovery days, or general human optimisation - making you more mobile and functional and complimenting all other types of exercise. They also provide an ideal entry point for older populations or those brand new to working out.

  • Absolutely! Please email us at info@sh1ftfitness.com and we can give you access to a showcase of workouts to try.

  • Full M1ND workouts are 30 minutes. However with the SH1FT App, it is very easy to change the length of a workout to whatever you need in a matter of seconds, using our bolt-ons.

  • Most of our workouts do not require equipment. However there are some releases, such as BAND and LOAD which are designed work with resistance bands or a light weight. But even in these releases, we always give an ‘equipment free’ option, should you not have the relevant equipment available.

  • Anywhere - a SH1FT Fitness instructors have ZERO restrictions which means you can teach anywhere you like - online or live. That includes both live and pre-recorded online classes.

  • As of January 2024 we will be on our 22nd M1ND release. As with all our formats, when you become a M1ND instructor you will get full access to all of our back catalogue of releases from day 1, for no extra cost.

    In terms of new content, we release a new M1ND workout every even month (Feb, April etc), and every odd month (Jan, March etc) we release our M1ND bolt-ons. So you’ll get a new piece of M1ND content every month.

  • Absolutely! Although M1ND is a brilliant standalone class, it has also been specially designed as the perfect companion to our other SH1FT Fitness formats.

    Many of our M1ND certified Instructors don’t actually teach a full M1ND class. Instead they bolt M1ND onto our other formats. If, for example, you have a 45 minute HIIT slot, a great option is to do a M1ND mobility warmup, a full SH1FT workout and then finish with a M1ND stability or flexibility bolt-on.

  • We think so! We know that up until now, if you aren’t into yoga, your ‘recovery style’ class options have been limited. Until now!

    M1ND is the antidote to the boring stretch classes. We like to think of it as self-care for fitness lovers - all the benefits of mobility training...but zero namaste. Many of our M1ND instructors have never taught a mind/body style class and they are blown away by how much they love M1ND.
